We are the proud parents of St. Mary's School students, and we work together to coordinate a variety of fundraisers throughout the school year. Each fundraiser is a team effort, and we are grateful for the opportunities we have to support our students and school.
We are only a few weeks into the 2022-2023 school year, but our fundraising efforts are already off and running! Our families joined together over Labor Day weekend to put on multiple events including the Belgian Waffle Feed, SMS Food Stand, and Craft and Vendor Fair. We served over 350 people at the waffle feed and went through 400 pork burgers and 75 hot dogs at the food stand. We also sold out of our popular walking tacos. Many guests attended the Craft and Vendor Fair in our school gymnasium. Thank you to all the individuals who shared their products, resources and talents.
We sold all 500 tickets for our annual calendar raffle, and we introduced our newest fundraiser, a She-Shed/Playhouse raffle. You can check out this amazing shed on display outside of Midwest Supply in Tracy. Tickets are available for $20 each from SMS families from now until February 15th. You can also purchase tickets at the following local businesses: Elysian Chiropractic -Tracy, Jolynn's Cut n Curl, Midwest Supply, Silver Shears, The Caboose and Tracy Builder's Supply.
Our next fundraiser is our annual school marathon which will be held on Sunday, October 2nd at End-o-Line Park in Currie. Our students, families, staff and alumni will gather that day to walk and bike the trail near Lake Shetek. Students are asking for pledges to support them in the marathon. All proceeds will go to the school. Please consider making a pledge today and join us for the marathon on October 2nd! We pray for a lovely fall day where we can all come together in faith, fellowship and fitness.
Please stay tuned for more information here on upcoming People's Club events and fundraisers. We love our school and stay active in our efforts to support it throughout the year!"
